Premier Inn Leicester City Centre hotel

Overall a really positive and enjoyable stay with premier inn. One thing that stood out was the requirement of scanning your key card to access the lifts. I personally haven’t seen this before and can appreciate the added security but maybe add a notice outside the lift so people know to have their card out before hand. Unfortunately there were a few issues with the room. The window was broken and wouldn’t open also sockets by all the beds needs to be the bare minimum these days. Other than that I have no complaints and really appreciated everything else. Surprisingly a lot of parking in the basement too.

Nice hotel, staff were lovely holding my bags for the afternoon until I got my train home. Rooms spacious and warm. I prefer the 1st floor but being on 6 can take time coming down waiting for the lifts. But thats no ones fault.. great location!

A handy location near to the train station and with parking at a reasonable rate on site too. A short walk to the shopping centre with plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, going over and above to make our short stay a pleasant, relaxing and enjoyable one. We would definitely recommend it and would happily stay again.

I stayed at Premier inn for one night on a business trip. I had very pleasant and peaceful stay. Room was spacious and bathroom was great. Check in staff were very helpful and pleasant. Lady called Brooklyn was extremely polite and helpful. Would stay in this hotel again if I came to Leicester.

So good to be back at this hotel after ten years! The spaces have been renovated since our last stay but the familiar comfort remains. The staff work at the front desk, at the bar, and at the restaurant - and they conduct the tasks wonderfully. I didn't manage to get their names, but they were all great. The hairdryer in our room wasn't working, I brought it to the front desk and handed it to the staff who was in the middle of helping some guests with checking. In less than 5 minutes, she knocked on our hotel door with another hairdryer! Breakfast was hearty and filling. I love cooked English breakfasts and Premier Inn does it so well. We also have dinner there on two nights - I loved the Makhani Chicken especially but everything was delicious! The beds were comfortable. The shower was a little weak and squealed but it worked. A tip for breakfast if you have prebooked it and have a non-'western' name, give your room number and your full name. Don't just give your last name. Our breakfast booking couldn't be found initially because our middle name became our last name.

The staff deserve a raise! Went above and beyond and not one member of staff had a frown on their face. Big thanks to Sabrina (the teenage witch)& Basia for being so great at what they do and for providing me with some excellent customer service. Will definitely be back for leisure rather than business. Would be 5 stars but my burger didn’t come with coleslaw and I love coleslaw

I just wanted to leave a positive review here and say that I enjoyed my stay. Was greeted by a friendly receptionist who kindly let me check in an hour earlier as my room was ready. I was given room 216 which was perfect.I didn't hear a sound from anywhere.Had a lovely peaceful sleep.The room was cosy.I would be very happy to stay here again. I was worried about the lift working after reading previous reviews,but it worked fine when I was there.

Came to stay for the night due to having an early hospital appointment. Checked in and served all night by Ella. What a lovely young lady. Very smiley and happy even though she appeared to be rushed off of her feet, you wouldn’t have known it. My daughter says “she was very kind and helpful. When we checked in she was very welcoming. I can’t wait to come back” The food in the restaurant came out quickly and was delicious. My daughter really liked it. We will be back again next week for another appointment and will definitely be staying here again. Thanks so much Ella for your kind and bubbly nature.
